“Forward into the Impossible” – Exodus 12-14 | April 10, 2022 | Pastor Chad Friestad
Exodus 12:31-32 says, “Then he summoned Moses and Aaron by night and said, ‘Up, go out from among my people, both you and the people of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as you have said. Take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone, and bless me also!’”
Finally! God’s people were set free. They could leave Egypt and worship the Lord as they had requested. But can you imagine the impossibilities they would now face? They had to get out immediately! Did they even know which direction to go? And how in the world would they mobilize upwards of 2 million people out of the land all at once… after they’d live there for over 400 years?
There’s a good chance you’re up against an impossible situation – perhaps a battle for your health, a co-worker that’s impossible to deal with, or strife in your home or with your kids. Perhaps your marriage is struggling to survive. Or maybe you’re in a season of drastic life-change and you’re struggling to adjust.
As we look at Exodus 12-14, we’ll discover the three best things we can do when we face seemingly impossible situations. We’ll be encouraged and inspired by God’s power, guidance, and protection.
